- 1. No uncased loaded firearms allowed other than on the firing line. All uncased firearms will have actions open with indicators.
- 2. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
- 3. All bullets must impact in the designated areas.
- 4. Always be aware of your target and backstop. Glass and rocks as targets are forbidden.
- 5. Know your firearms and their capabilities.
- 6. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.
- 7. No one under the age of eighteen may handle firearms without adult supervision.
- 8. Hearing and eye protection is recommended whenever using the range and required when shooting at hard surfaced items such as steel plates, etc. During matches the match director may make eye and ear protection mandatory. Hard surfaced targets may be shot in designated areas on the range. Deviation from these designated shooting areas will result in membership discipline,
- 9. No Alcoholic Beverages Allowed On Club Property!
- 10. When Bringing a guest (including children) to our range; the hosting member is responsible for the actions of there guest, and may be charge for any damages that occur.
- 11. The indoor range is built to handle .22 caliber rim fire (not Magnum) and handgun calipers with moderate loaded lead bullets (NO JACKETED BULLETS). All bullets MUST impact in the backstop no higher than 42""above the floor.
- 12. No one should be behind or beside the indoor range when in use. No one is to be on the berms or in the woods on the outside ranges.
- 13. When leaving the indoor range, clean up all brass, remove targets, turn off lights and heat, and secure locks.
- 14. The ranges are open subject to restrictions noted on the range/clubhouse rules. The use of firearms firing 50 cal browning cartridge is expressly forbidden on all club property. The usage of automatic firearms is subject to the approval by the club executive officer. Permission must be received by the XO prior to usage of such firearms. The XO must be notified of the type of firearm to be used, etc. and your training in use of such firearms prior to their usage. As stated NO 50 CAL BROWNING CARTRIDGE FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED ON CLUB PROPERTY.
- 15. All facilities, including targets and framework, are for the use of all members on an equal basis unless otherwise marked. After using such items, please pick up after yourself, and when placing targets on frames, be sure the bullets will pass though without damaging the framework.
- 16. No hunting on club property. If anyone or any member is observed hunting on club property; you should contact the Kosc. Co. Sheriffs Dept. and report this to the clubs XO
- 17. All activities except for personal target practice must be scheduled at a membership meeting prior to the event. Scheduled events take priority over personal activities.
- 18. No one shall wait for more that 1 hour for use of the range after notifying the person using the range of their desire to use the range.
- 19. All members must have their membership card with them while on the range and must present it for identification when politely asked for by another member.
- 20. All members, when using a range, must sign in and out on the sign in sheet at the gate.
- 21. The combination must not be given out to nonmembers.
